Can you name the Premier League's top assisters?

Sports Mole challenges you to name the Premier League's top assisters of all time.

On a day where Mohamed Salah broke two Premier League records, the Liverpool man's goalscoring feats unsurprisingly made the most headlines when he slotted the ball into the back of the Ipswich Town net on August 17, 2024.

Poking home against the Tractor Boys on the first weekend of the 2024-25 season saw Salah register his ninth opening-day goal, more than any other player the English top flight has ever seen since 1992.

However, before etching his name into that page of history, Salah was responsible for setting up Liverpool's opening goal of the afternoon for Diogo Jota, helping him overtake Wayne Rooney for the most overall goal contributions on the opening day.

The Egypt international now has nine goals of his own and five assists for 14 direct involvements in gameweek one, and his overall tally in the latter category is an astounding 70, unsurprisingly putting him in the top 20 in Premier League history.

Here, Sports Mole is challenging you to name the other players to make the top 20 of that star-studded list.
