After finishing in a comfortable eighth position last season, Alanyaspor are on course for their worst placement since 2017 this time around, although the fate of Saturday night's hosts could have been significantly worse if not for a recent positive change of Super Lig fortunes.
Since the dramatic 4-3 defeat at Trabzonspor on April 27, the Orange and Greens have enjoyed a four-game unbeaten run in the top flight, with their most recent success arriving on Sunday afternoon, when goals from Ui-Jo Hwang and Yusuf Ozdemir were enough for victory over Konyaspor.
Collecting a highly-respectable tally of eight points from their most recent quartet of top-flight contests, Alanyaspor are currently occupying 15th spot in the Super Lig standings ahead of the final-day hosting of Sivasspor, a comforting five points ahead of the bottom four.
Taking charge of the Orange and Greens in the middle of a crisis during March, Portuguese manager Joao Pereira has managed to successfully steer the Alanyaspor ship away from the second tier, with the former Sporting Lisbon coach winning three of his eight games in charge to date.
After a nomadic career to date in the United States of America, Russia and Germany, Sergio Cordova has found his latest home at GAIN Park in the colours of Alanyaspor, with the exciting Venezuelan netting nine goals and providing three assists across 35 Super Lig appearances this term.

Since the 2-0 triumph over fellow strugglers Antalyaspor on April 26, Sivasspor have endured a three-game winless run which has sentenced them to second-tier football during the 2025-26 campaign, with the nail in the coffin coming at the base of Samsunspor last time out.
The Super Lig's surprise package managed to snatch all three points at Samsun Yeni Stadium just under a week ago courtesy of Landry Dimata's seventh league goal of the term, handing the Braves their 18th defeat of the campaign, with only Hatayspor (21) and whipping boys Adana Demirspor (28) suffering more difficult days.
Winning just one of their last seven top-flight contests ahead of Saturday's season finale at GAIN Park, Sivasspor are currently occupying 17th spot in the Super Lig rankings, seven points behind Alanyaspor in the safety of 15th with only three points left to fight for.
Netting just 15 goals across 17 Super Lig outing to date, the Braves had been unable to cement themselves as a consistent threat on the road during 2024-25, and no side in the 19-team division has collected fewer than Sivasspor's eight away points.
Unlikely to be turning out for Riza Calimbay's men in the second tier next season, Rey Manaj has enjoyed a productive campaign on an individual note at the top end of the pitch, with the 28-year-old Albanian firing in 12 goals across 27 appearances as his side battled for survival.

Alanyaspor's attacking options have been diminished by the absence of Buluthan Bulut, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in early January.
The hosts' selections in the middle of the park are further reduced by the ill-discipline of Richard, with the Brazilian collecting a suspension-inducing yellow card versus Konyaspor last time out.
Failing to feature for Sivasspor at all during this relegation campaign, Mehmet Albayrak remains in the medical room because of a serious knee problem.
Midfielder Jan Bieganski mustered up 11 appearances for the Braves from August to March before picking up a campaign-concluding hip injury.
Suspended for the trip to Alanyaspor after collecting a caution at Samsunspor, Samuel Moutoussamy will sit out of the final-day action this weekend.
Alanyaspor possible starting lineup:
Taskiran; Yavuz, Balkovec, Aliti; Hadergjonaj, Makouta, Janiver, Ozdemir; Vilhena, Hwang, Cordova
Sivasspor possible starting lineup:
Vural; Okumus, Radakovic, Kamara, Ciftci; Bekiroglu, Koita, Turgunbaev, Charisis, Rodrigues; Boke
We say: Alanyaspor 2-0 Sivasspor
After an impressive result at Konyaspor last weekend, Alanyaspor should be confident of putting already-relegated Sivasspor to the sword on the final day.
The Braves are poor travellers in the Super Lig and have nothing tangible to play for, meaning that a convincing defeat at GAIN Park is on the cards.
