Tom Lineham's second-half brace helps Hull FC to a 32-16 scalp of Catalan Dragons which sees them climb off the bottom of the Super League table.

Hull FC climbed off the bottom of the Super League table courtesy of a 33-22 victory over Catalans Dragons this evening.

Tom Lineham's second-half brace helped the hosts pull away after six tries were shared before the break at the KC Stadium.

It was Catalans who opened the scoring as Vincent Duport touched down on 14 minutes, but Marc Sneyd inspired Hull's first-half comeback.

The stand-off converted his own try on 21 minutes before adding the extras to efforts from Stephen Michaels and Fetuli Talanoa as the interval approached.

Thomas Bosc's reply on the stroke of half time ensured that the Dragons were not out of the game, but Lineham's 12-minute double put Hull 32-10 ahead.

Tries from Morgan Escare and Zeb Taia gave the scoreline a more respectable outlook for the French outfit, who remain fourth in the table, only a point above 10th-placed Hull.
