According to reports, Hull FC full-back Jordan Rankin will join Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at the end of the season.

Hull FC full back Jordan Rankin will join Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at the end of the season, according to BBC Radio Humberside.

The Black and Whites announced in July that the Australian would be one of a number of players to depart the club in the off-season.

"Jordan has been a fantastic acquisition for the club and an absolute pleasure to coach while he has been here," said Hull FC head coach Lee Radford.

"He has had some good performances both in the halves and full back but with Jamie Shaul on a long-term contract, competition in the halves and salary cap pressures, we have to be realistic about the future and the make-up of our squad."

The 23-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Airlie Birds this season, scoring 11 tries.
