Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how West Ham United could line up against Newcastle United on Saturday.

West Ham United will head into Saturday's clash with Newcastle United knowing that a win would take them into third position in the Premier League table.

The Hammers will again be without the services of Michail Antonio and Declan Rice through injury, while the match is also expected to come too soon for Angelo Ogbonna despite the fact that the centre-back has made strong progress in his recovery from an ankle issue.

Aaron Cresswell is also likely to miss out with a thigh problem, meaning that there could be a start in the back three for Fabian Balbuena, who replaced Cresswell off the bench against Leicester City last weekend.

Darren Randolph and Andriy Yarmolenko are also unlikely to be involved in this match, but Manuel Lanzini should shake off a knock, while Mark Noble is expected to overcome a thigh problem to start.

Jesse Lingard has scored eight goals and registered four assists in nine appearances for David Moyes's side since arriving from Manchester United on loan.

The England international will again feature in the final third of the field, with Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen expected to join him, leaving Noble and Tomas Soucek in the middle of the park.

Arthur Masuaku has only just returned from a long injury, but the 27-year-old has not suffered any issues since making his comeback, and he will again be in the starting XI on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham possible starting lineup: Fabianski; Diop, Dawson, Balbuena; Coufal, Noble, Soucek, Masuaku; Lingard, Bowen, Fornals
