Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in Sweden full-back Erdin Demir, who plies his trade for Belgian club Waasland-Beveren.

Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a move for Sweden full-back Erdin Demir.

The 27-year-old currently plies his trade for Belgian club Waasland-Beveren, having moved there from Norwegian outfit SK Brann in 2015.

Demir missed the first three matches of last season but quickly became an ever-present in the Beveren backline, starting the subsequent 27 league games.

According to Swedish website 24 Malmo, Wolves are one of a number of European clubs interested in the defender, alongside Augsburg, Panathinaikos and Malmo.

Demir has won six caps for the Swedish national team, his last appearance coming in 2014.
