Liverpool are reportedly prepared to swoop for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola this summer.
The Reds are currently working on a big-money deal to prise Germany international Florian Wirtz away from Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool are also keen to strengthen the left side of their defence with the addition of Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez, having already bolstered their right-back options with the signing of Jeremie Frimpong.
Even if they sign Kerkez and Wirtz, Liverpool are seemingly in no mood to stop their summer spending, as they look to build upon last season's Premier League triumph.
Liverpool eyeing Barcola move
According to The Sun, Liverpool are lining up an ambitious swoop to add PSG's Barcola to their array of attacking options.
Barcelona showcased his talent in PSG's treble-winning campaign, netting 21 goals and providing 19 assists in 58 competitive matches.
However, he had to settle for a substitute role in the Champions League final against Inter Milan, as Luis Enrique opted for a front three of Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele for the dominant 5-0 victory.
As a result, Barcola will be aware that he is by no means a guaranteed starter at the Parc des Princes despite reaching a high level in his performances during the 2024-25 campaign.
While Liverpool could look to test PSG's resolve, the Reds will face competition from German champions Bayern Munich in the race to sign the 22-year-old this summer.
Vincent Kompany's side have identified the France international as their top target in their quest to sign a new left winger.
Reds could offload three players
The report claims that Liverpool will try to raise funds for further transfer business by entertaining offers for three attackers.
Darwin Nunez is widely expected to leave Anfield this summer despite the fact that he is still under contract until the summer of 2028.
The Premier League champions are also open to the possibility of selling Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota when the transfer window reopens on June 16.
