Ajax defender Mike van der Hoorn is reportedly due to undergo a medical ahead of a £2m move to Swansea City.

Ajax defender Mike van der Hoorn is edging closer to a move to Swansea City as he is reportedly due to undergo a medical this week.

It was reported last week that the two clubs have agreed a fee in the region of £2m for the centre-back.

Now, according to Sky Sports News, a medical has been arranged for Van der Hoorn, who made 49 first-team appearances for Ajax following his £3m move from Utrecht in 2013.

Meanwhile, Leroy Fer is expected to make his loan stay at Swansea permanent after a £4.75m fee was reportedly agreed with his parent club Queens Park Rangers.
