Striker Joselu suggests that he is open to returning to parent club Stoke City after spending a year on loan at Deportivo La Coruna.

Stoke City striker Joselu has said that he will "work non-stop" during pre-season, regardless of where he plays his football during the next campaign.

After a year at Stoke, he was loaned out to Deportivo La Coruna where he scored five goals in 20 appearances in La Liga, and he has hinted that he would like another spell in Spain.

However, while his future remains up in the air, he has indicated that he will work hard to earn a place in the Potters squad for their upcoming friendly fixtures.

The 27-year-old told Marca: "Now I wait. It's a warm summer, I have two years left at Stoke.

"We hope to have solutions as soon as possible and if not, I will work non-stop in pre-season. Whatever comes, may God want it to be good."

After Stoke spent £5.75m on his signature in 2015, Joselu scored four times in 10 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Premier League.
