Newcastle United duo Jamaal Lascelles and Isaac Hayden reportedly lock horns in a bust-up after the Magpies' Premier League draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Newcastle United duo Jamaal Lascelles and Isaac Hayden were reportedly involved in a bust-up after the Magpies' Premier League draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Steve Bruce's men welcomed Spurs to St James' Park for the first game under the new Saudi-led ownership, and the new era kicked off in perfect fashion with Callum Wilson's second-minute opener.

However, Spurs spoiled the Newcastle party as they ultimately ran out 3-2 winners in the North East, and the mood on the day was supposedly soured even further by actions between two Magpies players.

According to the Daily Mail, Lascelles and Hayden locked horns in the tunnel as 'anarchy' occurred after full time, with the two players having to be prised apart by staff.

The report adds that Magpies players are also growing increasingly frustrated with Bruce, and a large contingent want to see the 60-year-old given the boot before the trip to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Newcastle remain without a win in eight Premier League games this season, and the club's new owners have reportedly narrowed down their manager search to three candidates in Unai Emery, Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers.
