Manchester United fan groups have reportedly put together a list of demands for prospective buyers.

The Glazer family took over the club in 2005, but they recently released a statement which expressed a desire to sell the 20-time English champions.

According to BBC Sport, over 50 Man United fan supporters group have published a joint open letter that lists their demands for any potential new owners.

The letter states that they would like to see investment into the men's, women's and youth teams as well as the club's infrastructure, while they want the new owners to commit to never again enter a competition similar to the European Super League without the consent of fans.

Their request also included a desire for any new owner to clear the club's debt and share ownership with the fans as partners.

A recent report claimed that the Glazers could sell Man United by the end of the season, with a number of interested parties already linked.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and tech giant Apple were believed to be among those who could look to complete a takeover, while Saudi Arabia's sport minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal has claimed that the country's government would support a bid from the private sector.
