Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Manchester City defenders Kyle Walker and John Stones have both returned to team training ahead of Sunday's final-day Premier League battle with Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

The duo were expected to miss the rest of the campaign alongside Ruben Dias but are now expected to be in contention for the final day, where a win would hand City the title.

Dias is certain to miss out, though, and Pep Guardiola may be tempted to throw Stones straight back into the starting lineup given Fernandinho and Aymeric Laporte's recent issues.

Fernandinho could be the one to make way for Stones, but there is no need to rush Walker back while Joao Cancelo and Oleksandr Zinchenko are capable of deputising out wide.

Kevin De Bruyne did not enjoy his finest hour against West Ham United last week, but the Belgian should form an unchanged midfield with Bernardo Silva and Rodri here.

Jack Grealish sparked the comeback at the London Stadium and would dearly love to show his former club what they are missing, so he could feature from the off again.

Gabriel Jesus will seemingly lead the line - potentially for the final time in sky blue - while Raheem Sterling hopes to earn his place back over Riyad Mahrez after the Algerian's late penalty miss last time out.

Man City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Cancelo, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko; Silva, Rodri, De Bruyne; Sterling, Jesus, Grealish
