Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan are both doubts for Saturday's Premier League clash with Norwich City.
De Bruyne made his return from injury off the bench against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, but the Belgium international was not able to train with the Citizens on Friday.
Gundogan, meanwhile, has recovered from the shoulder problem that he suffered in North London, but the midfielder has since picked up an ankle issue in training.
Guardiola is hopeful that both players will be available for the match with the Canaries, with the Spaniard prepared to wait until tomorrow morning before making a final decision.
"He (De Bruyne) could not train today. Gundogan had a little disturbance. We will see tomorrow. Gundo has a little problem with his ankle. See how he feels tomorrow," Guardiola told reporters.
Phil Foden remains on the sidelines for the Premier League champions due to a foot problem but should be available after the September international break.
