Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Marseille

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with Marseille on Wednesday evening.

Manchester City will endeavour to return to winning ways in the Champions League when they welcome Group C basement side Marseille to the Etihad Stadium for Wednesday's final group game.

Pep Guardiola's men were held to a goalless stalemate by Porto in their most recent outing, but City had already booked their place in the last 16 with four wins from their first four.

The Premier League giants eased to a 3-0 win on Marseille's turf when the sides first met in October, and City go into this game following a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Fulham in the Premier League.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit of Marseille.

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 9 (vs. Marseille)

Sergio Aguero was not ready to return to action against Fulham, but Guardiola has confirmed that the prolific Argentine is back in training and getting closer to a comeback. Aguero could be named among the substitutes for this one, but it would be a surprise to see him take to the field.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester City have no players suspended for their final Champions League group game.
