Jurgen Klopp is reportedly looking at Juventus and Argentina attacker Paulo Dybala as the perfect successor to Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly earmarked Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala as the ideal successor to Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool.

The Brazil international left Anfield for Barcelona in January and the Reds did not invest in a direct replacement in the same transfer window.

Although Coutinho's absence has not been felt due to the impressive form of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, Klopp is still believed to be on the lookout for a new attacking midfielder.

According to Italian outlet Mediaset Sport, Liverpool have identified Dybala as the right player to take over from Coutinho, and will seek to make a big-money move in the summer.

The Argentina star is revered at the Juventus Stadium but the report claims that a bid of £110m could persuade the Bianconeri hierarchy to cash in on their asset.

Liverpool received £146m for Coutinho in January and reinvested around £75m of the fee in Virgil van Dijk, who joined from Southampton.
