Leicester City reportedly open discussions with midfielder Andy King as they look to secure the future of the Welsh international.

Midfielder Andy King has reportedly opened discussions with Leicester City over a new contract.

King has made over 300 appearances for the Foxes since linking up with the first team in 2007 but as it stands, the Welsh international only has 12 months left on his existing deal.

However, according to ESPN, Leicester are keen to extend the 27-year-old's stay at the King Power Stadium by handing him a long-term contract.

King made 25 appearances in the Premier League last season as the East Midlands side won the title by 10 points.

He also made three appearances at Euro 2016 during Wales's surprise run to the semi-finals.
