West Ham United co-chairman David Gold confirms that they have come to an agreement with AC Milan over the potential signing of striker Carlos Bacca.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has confirmed that the club have reached an agreement with AC Milan over the potential signing of Carlos Bacca.

The Hammers had previously seen a £25m bid for the Colombian striker rejected before returning with a final offer of £28m.

Gold has now confirmed that the move is in the player's hands, although the likes of Arsenal and Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old.

In reply to a tweet about Bacca, Gold said: "A deal has been done with his club, it's now up to the player."

Gold later added on the club's official website: "Unfortunately I cannot give any more updates on our pursuit for a new striker.

"At the moment we are having to be patient, but other clubs are in the same situation and there is still time for us to get the signings we want to add into the squad."

West Ham have already reportedly seen moves for Michy Batshuayi, Alexandre Lacazette and Callum Wilson fall through this summer.
