Mere weeks after a gruelling domestic season concluded for the continent's most celebrated talents, 24 teams and over 600 players are now going again with Euro 2024 supremacy at stake.
Only three years have passed since Italy's exhilarating run to glory at the delayed Euro 2020 tournament, culminating in their penalty-shootout success over England at Wembley in the final, and the Azzurri are present in Germany to defend their crown after their World Cup 2022 failure.
However, the likes of England, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands and hosts Germany are among the leading contenders to dethrone Italy as kings of Europe, where the new continental champions will be crowned in Berlin on July 14.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up everything you need to know about today's Euro 2024 action, including which teams are in action, how to watch and what to keep a particular eye out for.

Germany have been dominant at this summer's competition, opening their Group A campaign with a 5-1 success over Scotland, before recording a 2-0 victory over Hungary last time out.
The tournament hosts are already through to the round of 16 and will be confirmed as section winners with a point against Switzerland, who will also be through if they avoid defeat.
Switzerland will also advance as a top-two outfit if Scotland fail to beat Hungary, while they will win the group with a victory over Germany, so it would be fair to say that there is plenty at stake in this match.
Jamal Musiala has been one of the standout players at the competition and will be bidding to score in a third straight match this summer, but Switzerland have also packed a punch at the tournament, beating Hungary 3-1 in their section opener before picking up a point in a 1-1 draw with Scotland last time out.

Scotland sit third in Group A, one point above fourth-placed Hungary and three points from Switzerland in second.
Steve Clarke's side will be through to the round of 16 in second place if they beat Hungary and Switzerland lose to Germany, provided that they come out on top on goal difference, while overall goals scored, disciplinary points and potentially European Qualifier rankings could be needed to separate them.
Hungary, on the other hand, can no longer finish in the top two, but a win over Scotland would give them a chance of progressing to the next stage as one of the best third-placed finishers.
Scotland will be missing both Kieran Tierney (injured) and Ryan Porteous (suspended) against Hungary, who will again be looking for inspiration from captain Dominik Szoboszlai, with the national side needing to collect all three points to stand even a slight chance of continuing their journey in the competition.

Portugal booked their spot in the round of 16 on Saturday evening courtesy of a 3-0 success over Turkey in Dortmund.
Bernardo Silva sent Portugal ahead in the 21st minute, and Roberto Martinez's side went on to score twice more following mistakes from their opponents to ease their way into the next round as Group F winners.
Turkey remain second second in the section, two points above both third-placed Czech Republic and fourth-placed Georgia, with the two teams, who can still make the next round, playing out a 1-1 draw earlier in the day.
Portugal are under no pressure heading into their final game in the section against Georgia, but Turkey will need to pick up something from their final match against Czech Republic in order to advance.
The late kickoff on Saturday came in Cologne, with Belgium and Romania locking horns in Group E; it was a match that had plenty on the line, and Belgium recorded a 2-0 victory to heavily boost their chances of making the next round.
All four teams in Group E, which also includes Slovakia and Ukraine, are on three points heading into the final two matches, with Romania still at the summit and Belgium now in second position.
