Asamoah Gyan's proposed loan move to Fulham reportedly breaks down.

Shanghai SIPG striker Asamoah Gyan's proposed loan move to Fulham has reportedly collapsed.

The Ghana international was due to undergo a medical with the London club this week, but has instead opened to remain in China, according to Sky Sports News.

Former Sunderland striker Gyan joined the Chinese Super League outfit from United Arab Emirates club Al Ain last summer, signing a contract worth a reported £227,000 per week.

He has scored seven goals since moving to Asia and earned 95 caps for Ghana during his career.
