Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is reportedly wanted by a Premier League club, who are said to have 'explored conditions' regarding a deal.

Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is reportedly attracting concrete interest from a Premier League club.

Last summer, the Blues paid Leicester City a fee in the region of £30m to sign the Englishman on a five-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.

There is the perception that the 26-year-old endured an underwhelming first campaign at Stamford Bridge having never been viewed as first choice.

However, the versatile midfielder ended the season with 19 starts and 17 substitute outings in all competitions, contributing five goals and four assists, and winning both the Conference League and Club World Cup.

Dewsbury-Hall played 13 minutes of the 3-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the latter tournament, but his future is sure to remain up in the air.

Which Premier League club wants Dewsbury-Hall?

According to Sky Sports News, Fulham have made contact with their West London rivals to establish the preferred conditions of any transfer.

The Cottagers are said to have asked whether either a permanent or loan deal is a possibility during the summer transfer window.

Fulham are yet to make any signings ahead of 2025-26, naturally leading to frustration among the fanbase after a near miss with European qualification.

Nevertheless, additions will surely be made in due course and it appears that Marco Silva is an admirer of Dewsbury-Hall.

With Tom Cairney's contract at Craven Cottage expiring, Fulham require at least one new central midfielder, particularly from a creative standpoint.

Last season, none of the players in the engine room contributed more than two goals or four assists, highlighting an area that requires improvement.

Will Chelsea keep Dewsbury-Hall?

Chelsea are currently attempting to facilitate a number of sales at the same time as trying to wrap up deals for Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons.

Dewsbury-Hall ticks the versatility box in Enzo Maresca's squad, while he is currently one of 10 Englishmen who could be part of the senior ranks for next season.

However, the arrivals of Dario Essugo and Andrey Santos means that he is further down the pecking order in the engine room, while he will be no more than third choice as a number 10.

Therefore, it feels more likely than not that he will be sold or loaned out to a Premier League club before the start of September.
