Brondby will be bidding to begin their 2025-26 Danish Superliga campaign on a winning note when they welcome Silkeborg to JYSK Park on Sunday.

Brondby's first leg of their European clash is next Thursday, but they will currently be focusing on making a winning start to their league campaign, with a title challenge the target this term.
Frederik Birk's side have been active during this summer's transfer window, with their standout signing proving to be Oliver Villadsen, who has made the move from Nuremberg.
Meanwhile, there have been some notable departures, including Yuito Suzuki to Freiburg and Mathais Kvistgaarden.

Brondby are expected to have some new faces in their XI on Sunday, with Villadsen and Mats Kohlert both in line to feature at the back, while Kotaro Uchino and Sho Fukuda will hope to earn minutes in the final third of the field.
The team's three leading goalscorers from last season have departed, with Mileta Rajovic also moving on, but Nicolai Vallys has stayed, and the 27-year-old, who scored seven times in 2024-25, will feature in the final third.
Filip Bundgaard could join Fukuda in a front two, with Vallys operating in the number 10 spot.
As for Silkeborg, Montano and Al Hajj are both set to feature in the starting side following their arrivals.
Tonni Adamsen scored 23 times during an excellent 2024-25 campaign, and he will feature in the final third, while Pelle Mattsson will also be in the side.
However, Younes Bakiz, who netted 14 times last term, will miss the contest through injury.
