League One outfit Brentford have taken Derry City winger Barry McNamee on trial.
The midfielder, who has reportedly attracted the interest of a number of Football League clubs, will link up with Brentford for the next week with a view to gaining a permanent contract.
His agent Steve Blatherwick of Elevate Sports Management told Sky Sports News: "Barry is going to Brentford and is really excited by the chance.
"He has had an excellent season for Derry City and obviously a move to England is something he is keen on."
McNamee has just 12 months to run on his current deal with Derry.
