Brentford are reportedly confident that Christian Eriksen will extend his contract with the club.
The playmaker joined the Premier League side in January on a six-month deal until the end of this season after his time with Inter Milan came to an end.
The 30-year-old was unable to play in Serie A due to the league rulings not allowing someone with a heart defibrillator to participate, which is why he returned to England.
Eriksen has been able to make three appearances for the Bees since that point, and according to the Times, the club are confident that he will sign an extension to his current contract.
It is expected that the midfielder will be waiting until this campaign ends in order to guarantee the Bees will remain in the Premier League, and talks have yet to officially begin.
After 30 games the club are 15th in the table, sitting eight points above the relegation zone.
