Crystal Palace and Aston Villa can both make significant changes to a streak or historical run when they meet in the FA Cup semi-finals.
The Premier League sides head into Saturday's showdown at Wembley Stadium bidding to set up a final against either Nottingham Forest or Manchester City.
With both clubs competing in the top flight in midweek, it remains to be seen who will be able to switch their attention to remaining in the hunt to lift silverware at the end of the season.
Sitting 12 points ahead of Palace in the Premier League table, many will have Villa as the favourites to prevail in North London.
Nevertheless, their opponents have plenty of reasons to be confident they can move to within touching distance of their first-ever FA Cup triumph.

Villa's dismal Palace run
Villa have put together a discouraging run against Palace in recent times, recording one draw and three defeats from the most recent four encounters in all competitions.
Thirteen goals have been conceded during that period, including nine at Selhurst Park, while Palace also emerged victorious in an EFL Cup earlier in the campaign.
Should Palace win on Saturday, it would represent the first time since 1968-69 that Villa have lost to the same club in both the FA Cup and EFL Cup in the same season.
Furthermore, Villa head into this game with a fairly poor record at Wembley Stadium, coming out on the losing side on six of their last eight visits.
Their only two successes have been against Liverpool in the 2014-15 semi-final and Derby County in the 2018-2019 Championship playoff final.

However...
While that does not make positive reading for Villa fans, they have never lost an FA Cup tie to Crystal Palace in their history.
The teams have met on three occasions - in 1912-13, 1961-62 and 2009-10 respectively - with Palace conceding at least three times in four fixtures, one of them being a replay.
Palace have also only prevailed from two of their five semi-finals in this competition, although this is the third time since 2016 that they have reached the last four.
Ismaila Sarr may be viewed as the dangerman by Villa, as opposed to Eberechi Eze. Sarr has never lost to Villa in six appearances and has contributed a remarkable five goals and two assists against the West Midlands outfit.
