A report claims that West Bromwich Albion chief executive Mark Jenkins is due to arrive in China to discuss Alan Pardew's future with the club's Far East owners.

Alan Pardew's future as West Bromwich Albion manager will reportedly be high on the agenda when chief executive Mark Jenkins flies to China to hold talks with the club's board.

A run of one win in 15 Premier League matches since taking charge at the end of November has left experienced boss Pardew fighting for his job.

The 56-year-old is expected to remain in charge for the visit of Leicester City next weekend but, according to Sky Sports News, West Brom chiefs will likely make a decision on whether to stick or twist beyond that point later this week.

Jenkins is said to be due to arrive in the Far East on Tuesday night, where he will hold face-to-face talks with controlling shareholder Guochuan Lai.

Among the talking points, it is claimed, is whether there are any alternative names to take charge and, if not, whether Pardew is the right man to guide them back up from the Championship should Albion indeed go down this term.
