Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £51.5m to sign Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar this summer, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been told that they will have to come up with an offer of €60m (£51.5m) to sign Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar during this summer's transfer window.

Spurs were strongly linked with the Slovakia international last year but could not come to an agreement with the Italian giants over a transfer fee.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Spurs are again showing an interest in the 26-year-old, who has two years left to run on his contract at San Siro.

However, Di Marzio claims that Inter, despite being under pressure to sell some key players due to their financial problems, will not let the centre-back leave for under €60m (£51.5m).

Skriniar, who scored three times in 39 appearances for the Italian champions during the 2020-21 campaign, featured on three occasions for his country at Euro 2020.

Tottenham are thought to be in the market for at least one new centre-back this summer and have also been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers's Conor Coady.
