Chelsea want to send Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan to a Bundesliga club for the 2021-22 campaign, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly planning to send Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan to a Bundesliga club for the 2021-22 campaign in order to help get his career back on track.

The 25-year-old has been involved for the Blues during pre-season, but he is not thought to be in the first-team plans of head coach Thomas Tuchel for the new campaign.

According to The Sun, there is a host of Premier League interest in the midfielder, who spent last season on loan with Fulham, scoring once in 32 appearances for the Cottagers.

However, the report claims that Chelsea want him to join a Bundesliga club in order to help him rediscover the form that made him an England regular in 2018.

Loftus-Cheek has scored 12 times and registered 11 assists in 82 appearances for his parent club and still has three years left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder played 63 minutes of Chelsea's 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, with Kai Havertz and Tammy Abraham finding the back of the net in the friendly.
