Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has urged the club's fans not to worry about their lack of transfer activity so far this summer.

Spurs are the only Premier League team yet to bring in any new faces during the current transfer window - a fact that has been highlighted by the level of spending from their direct rivals in the top seven.

However, Pochettino insists that he is not concerned about the money being spent around him and reassured fans that they will make a new signing before the end of the window.

"Our moment will arrive. We have a plan. We are calm because our squad is competitive," he is quoted as saying by The Telegraph.

"If we compare the last two seasons, we were the best. We have a very clear idea of what we want and what we need to do to try to achieve our target.

"I want to tell our fans, 'Don't be worried', because there are a lot of rumours about the big sides spending money and it looks like Tottenham is not ambitious. We will move in the market."

Spurs have been most heavily linked with a move for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
