Watford are reportedly interested in signing Everton winger Aaron Lennon on loan for the 2017-18 campaign.

The 30-year-old missed the tail end of last season due to a stress-related illness, but he is now back in training and featured during the Toffees' pre-season schedule last month.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is open to offers for the England international, though, and the Liverpool Echo reports that Watford have registered an interest.

New Hornets boss Marco Silva is keen to add pace and experience to his squad ahead of the new Premier League season and has identified Lennon as a possible target.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man is available on a permanent transfer, but Watford are understood to prefer a loan deal.

Lennon has made 58 appearances for Everton since joining from Spurs, initially on loan before making the move permanent.
