Watford confirm the signing of 20-year-old Brazilian striker Richarlison from Fluminense in a deal thought to be worth around £11m.

Watford have confirmed the signing of Brazilian forward Richarlison from Fluminense in a deal thought to be worth around £11m.

The Hornets have completed the capture of the promising striker after he was granted a work permit, leaving the 20-year-old to sign off on a five-year deal at the Hertfordshire club.

Richarlison has already appeared for Brazil at an Under-20 level and proved an impressive servant at Fluminense, scoring 19 times in 67 games for the Brazilian side.

The young forward has joined an impressive run of newcomers at Vicarage Road during the summer, alongside the permanent additions of Tom Cleverley, Will Hughes and Nathaniel Chalobah.

Marco Silva's side begin their new Premier League campaign when they face Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on Saturday.
