Tottenham Hotspur end their pre-season campaign with a 6-1 victory over Inter Milan in Oslo.

Two goals from Harry Kane have helped Tottenham Hotspur record an emphatic 6-1 victory over Inter Milan at the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo.

After an extended summer break, it took Kane just five minutes to get on the scoresheet when he lashed a penalty into the top corner of the net after Cristian Ansaldi was adjudged to have brought down Kyle Walker.

Moments later, it could have been two when Christian Eriksen played in Ryan Mason but the midfielder placed his shot wide of the target from no more than 10 yards out.

Inter took a while to warm up to the game that was being staged in Norway but they found an equaliser on 24 minutes when Ivan Perisic fired a shot past Michel Vorm after his side had launched a breakaway down the left flank.

However, Erik Lamela ensured that Spurs went into half time with a narrow advantage after he produced a stunning finish with five minutes of the first half to go, with the Argentine finding the top corner from 20 yards after being teed up by Kane.

Spurs made a number of changes at the break but it did not stop them scoring a third soon after the restart with Dele Alli playing a neat one-two with Vincent Janssen before finding the corner from 20 yards.

Soon afterwards, Kane hit the post with a header but he was celebrating his second goal of the afternoon two minutes later when he received a pass from Lamela before rifling the ball into the far corner from 16 yards.

The scoring spree was not over as Janssen sent the ball into the bottom corner from 12 yards after the referee had played advantage after a foul on Alli and with 13 minutes left, one of Spurs' youngsters got in on the act.

Lamela was released behind the Inter defence but rather than try a shot of his own, he rolled the ball across goal for Shayon Harrison to find the net from six yards out.

Spurs pushed for further goals, with Janssen just inches away from finding a second from distance, but the North London outfit were happy to make do with six as they warmed up for the new campaign in style.
