Scotland head coach Steve Clarke names two uncapped teenagers in his squad for the UEFA Nations League playoff tie against Greece.

Scotland head coach Steve Clarke has handed a first senior call-up to teenage duo Lennon Miller and James Wilson.

Having finished in third place in League A Group 1, the Tartan Army have earned the chance to try to retain their spot at the top tier of the UEFA Nations League with a two-legged playoff against Greece.

Despite the priority being the World Cup qualifiers later in the year, there is a desire to earn another standout result on the international stage versus opponents who only missed out on edging out England for top spot in League B Group 2 by their head-to-head record.

Nevertheless, Clarke has taken the opportunity to hand international bows to Miller and Wilson after their development in the Scottish Premiership.

Although he is just 18 years of age, Miller has already racked up 67 appearances for Motherwell in midfield, contributing five goals and nine assists as well as captaining the team on occasions.

Meanwhile, Hearts forward Wilson, who is also 18 years of age, has six goals and two assists from his opening 27 outings for the Edinburgh-based outfit.

What are the other notable selections?

For the first time since sustaining an injury at Euro 2024, Kieran Tierney is back in the fold, with the left-back having racked up one start and eight substitute outings for Arsenal since the middle of December.

Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson has also been recalled having recovered from a serious knee injury, making a total of 10 starts and seven substitute outings in all competitions during 2024-25.

Kevin Nisbet's three goals and two assists from his last four appearances for Aberdeen have also earned him a spot in the squad.

Scotland and Greece will be squaring off for the first time in 30 years, with the last meeting taking place at Hampden Park in August 1995 when the two nations were bidding to qualify for Euro 96.
