Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen are named in Real Madrid's squad for the upcoming Club World Cup.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen have been named in Real Madrid's squad for the Club World Cup.

Real Madrid have confirmed that Alexander-Arnold's presentation will take place on Thursday.

"Real Madrid C.F. announces that the presentation of our player Trent Alexander-Arnold will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:30pm CEST, at Real Madrid City," read a statement from the capital giants.

"Prior to this, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will welcome Trent Alexander-Arnold for the formal signing ceremony that will link our new player to the club for the next six seasons.

"After the presentation, Trent Alexander-Arnold will speak to the media in the press room at Real Madrid City."

Meanwhile, a £50m deal for Huijsen has already been completed, with the Spain international arriving from Bournemouth.

Alexander-Arnold, Huijsen named in Real Madrid's Club World Cup squad

On Thursday afternoon, Real Madrid confirmed their squad for the Club World Cup, and Huijsen and Alexander-Arnold are the notable inclusions.

There are also spots for Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger, Eduardo Camavinga and Endrick, who missed the end of the 2024-25 campaign through injury.

Rodrygo is included, meanwhile, amid the speculation surrounding his future.

Arsenal continue to be linked with Rodrygo, and it is believed that Los Blancos would be willing to sell the Brazil international for the right price ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Lucas Vazquez and Luka Modric will also feature before leaving Bernabeu at the end of the tournament.

When will Alexander-Arnold, Huijsen make Real Madrid debuts?

Real Madrid will kick off their Club World Cup challenge against Al-Hilal on June 18, and in theory, both Alexander-Arnold and Huijsen could debut in that contest.

Xabi Alonso's side will then tackle Pachuca and Red Bull Salzburg in the group stage of the competition, and it will be fascinating to see how the capital giants perform this summer.
