Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up against Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will make wholesale changes to his starting side for Wednesday's Copa del Rey last-32 contest with Alcoyano.

Los Blancos are again expected to be without the services of Vinicius Junior and Luka Jovic following recent positive coronavirus tests, while Gareth Bale is not yet back in training after testing positive for the virus in December.

Dani Carvajal is also unlikely to be risked, as he battles to recover from a muscular problem, but the La Liga leaders do not have any fresh fitness concerns heading into the match.

Andriy Lunin, Jesus Vallejo, Antonio Blanco and Mariano Diaz are expected to be given rare opportunities to impress, while there could be a start in the final third for 19-year-old winger Peter Gonzalez.

Ancelotti will certainly be wary of selecting a team of youngsters, though, so there should be experience in the shape of Lucas Vazquez, Nacho, Marcelo, Federico Valverde and Eden Hazard.

Eduardo Camavinga was another to recently test positive for coronavirus, but the Frenchman has since recovered and would have been involved in Sunday's 1-0 loss to Getafe in La Liga had he not been suspended.

There are likely to be a number of youngsters on the bench, while Dani Ceballos and Isco will both be hoping to earn some valuable minutes in the Copa del Rey contest.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Vazquez, Nacho, Vallejo, Marcelo; Camavinga, Blanco, Valverde; Hazard, Mariano, Peter
