Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Brentford forward Yoane Wissa this summer.
The Magpies recently secured a deal for Nottingham Forest attacker Anthony Elanga, but they are now looking to add a striker to their squad, with Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike a leading target.
However, with a deal for Ekitike extremely complicated due to the money involved, and the presence of Liverpool, Newcastle are said to be looking at other options.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Wissa is firmly on Brentford's radar, with a £50m move for the 28-year-old said to be a serious possibility before the end of the summer transfer window.
Wissa enjoyed an excellent 2024-25 campaign for Brentford, scoring 20 times in 39 appearances in all competitions, with 19 of his goals coming in England's top flight.
The striker has a record of 45 Premier League goals in 137 appearances in England's top flight, and it is understood that Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on his signature.
AC Milan 'express interest' in Palace striker Mateta
Meanwhile, AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta during this summer's transfer window.
Mateta's future has been the subject of much speculation due to his excellent form last season, with Manchester United believed to be showing an interest in his services.
The 28-year-old scored 14 times in England's top flight during the 2024-25 campaign, while he has 38 Premier League goals for the Eagles since his arrival from Mainz 05.
According to Sky Sports News, Milan have made their interest known, but Palace are still insisting that the striker is not for sale during this summer's transfer window.
A late move to Man United has not been entirely ruled out, as the 20-time English champions have not yet managed to identify a clear target when it comes to the centre-forward spot.
Everton 'exploring deal' for Atletico's Lino
Elsewhere, Everton are reportedly exploring a potential summer deal for Atletico Madrid's Samuel Lino.
The 25-year-old made the move to Atletico from Gil Vicente in 2022, and he has represented the capital giants on 93 occasions in all competitions, including 47 outings during the 2024-25 campaign.
However, it is understood that the Brazilian is not in the plans of Atletico head coach Diego Simeone for next season.
According to Fichajes, various clubs from Serie A are keen on his services, but there is also interest from the Premier League in the shape of Everton.
The report claims that Atletico are only looking for a permanent exit, and it remains to be seen whether Everton come up with the transfer fee required to sign the Brazilian.
Lino, who played twice for Simeone's side at the 2025 Club World Cup, is valued by transfermarkt at €22m (£19m).
