Manchester United could allegedly attempt to swap Alejandro Garnacho with Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson during this summer's transfer window.

Manchester United could reportedly attempt to swap Alejandro Garnacho with Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson this summer in a deal which would suit both clubs.

The Red Devils are attempting to offload Garnacho during the current transfer window, while Jackson is also expected to leave Chelsea following the signings of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.

Chelsea are one of three Premier League clubs - the other two being Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur - that are believed to be interested in signing Garnacho during the summer market.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that Man United's desire to sign a new forward has led to them looking seriously at a deal for Jackson, who is believed to be open to moving to Old Trafford.

According to inews, Garnacho and Jackson could swap clubs this summer, with both Man United and Chelsea willing to entertain a deal of that kind despite the complex nature of it.

Garnacho, 21, scored 11 goals and registered 10 assists in 58 appearances for Man United last season, proving to be one of their most productive players during a tough campaign.

However, the Argentina international fell out with head coach Ruben Amorim following the Europa League final, as he had been named on the bench for the clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Garnacho has been told to find a new club this summer, and he is currently training away from the first-team squad at Carrington while his agents work on a departure.

Man United had allegedly been hopeful of securing a £70m transfer fee for the forward, but it is highly unlikely that the Red Devils will receive an offer of that amount, as it is common knowledge that he is for sale.

Could Jackson be a smart signing for Man United?

Jackson made the move to Chelsea from Villarreal in the summer of 2023, and he has scored 30 goals and registered 12 assists in 81 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.

Last season, the 24-year-old managed 13 goals and six assists in 37 appearances, while his Premier League record for the capital outfit is 24 goals in 65 appearances.

Barcelona are also believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation, with the Catalan outfit thought to be interested in a loan deal, but Garnacho could be key to Man United landing the striker.

The Red Devils want to shift Garnacho, and with a new striker an absolute must for the 20-time English champions this summer, swapping an unwanted attacker for Jackson could be smart business by the club.
