Jose Anigo: 'We should have won'

Jose Anigo is disappointed that Marseille could not pick up all three points away to Nantes on Friday night.

Marseille interim head coach Jose Anigo has insisted that his side deserved all three points from their 1-1 draw away to Nantes on Friday night in Ligue 1.

Anigo said that his side should have been out of sight by the half-time break and promised that Marseille would continue to battle for the fourth and fifth spots in the league table.

"We are disappointed because we could have won this game tonight," Ligue1.com quotes Anigo as saying. "My players showed a good performance, especially in the first period where we could have ended the game.

"This regret that we have, that bitterness, is because we had control over almost the entire match and it is a shame to leave with only a single point.

"We will continue our journey because nothing is finished for the fourth and fifth European places, but tonight we really had the opportunity to get a good result."

Marseille are currently two points behind fifth-placed Lyon.
