Manchester United manager reportedly tells wantaway winger Alejandro Garnacho to "pray" that another club will want to sign him this summer in heated outburst.

Details of the strong words used by Ruben Amorim towards Alejandro Garnacho following their falling out last week have reportedly been leaked.

Garnacho publicly voiced his displeasure at only being given 20 minutes in the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last Wednesday, stirring up rumours that he will leave the club in the summer.

Post-match, the winger told the press: "Up until the final, I played every round helping the team, and today I play 20 minutes, I don't know."

"The [Europa League] final will influence [my decision], but the whole season, the situation of the club [will too], I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens afterwards."

Those comments appear to have not gone down well with Amorim, especially as he was left out of the Man United squad for the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Amorim slaughters Garnacho in front of Man United squad

Now in another twist, the Daily Mail have revealed what was said by the Man United manager to the winger in front of the whole squad after those comments.

Amorim did not hold back, telling Garnacho: "You better pray that you can find a club to sign you".

Comments of such magnitude seem to suggest there is no way back, and the relationship between the two is now finished, with the Argentine highly likely to depart Manchester over the summer.

Reports at present are linking Garnacho with a move to newly-crowned Italian champions Napoli, who did business with Man United last summer, signing Scott McTominay, with the Scot going on to win the Serie A MVP Award.

Deja vu to Rashford fallout

This current situation has many similarities to the one involving Marcus Rashford back in January, when Amorim had a public falling out with the club academy graduate.

Rashford would go on to move to Aston Villa on loan, and there appears to be no future for the former England international at Old Trafford either, with a permanent move away from the club expected to follow in due course.

Rashford and Garnacho are on the verge of leaving, along with Antony, who has had a productive spell on loan at Real Betis in 2025, but the Red Devils are wasting no time at drafting reinforcements ahead of next season.

Matheus Cunha is on the verge of joining the club after United met the player's release clause, and Liam Delap is also being linked with a move to Old Trafford after a breakout season at Ipswich Town.
