Manchester United and set-piece coach Andreas Georgson have parted company amid criticism of his performance as a member of Ruben Amorim's staff.
The Red Devils endured their worst ever Premier League season, finishing 15th with just 42 points in 2024-25, and their Europa League final defeat against Tottenham Hotspur means they will have no European football next term.
Boss Amorim will make a number of changes which look set to include to his coaching staff, with set-piece coach Georgson's exit confirmed by the club, and his departure could be a benefit to the side given their record of 13 goals conceded from dead-ball situations was the fourth worst in the division.
The 43-year-old only arrived at Old Trafford last summer under Erik ten Hag, but The Mirror report that his role under Amorim was watered down, leading to his decision to move on.
United must improve in a number of departments if they are to climb the table in 2025-26 and compete for a place in Europe, and while they will need to bring a number of players in, addressing their frailty during set-pieces could be a cost-effective way of gaining valuable points.

Newcastle's transfer budget 'revealed'
Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has claimed that his side will spend significantly in the summer transfer window after profit and sustainability pressures eased.
The Toon finished fifth in the Premier League in 2024-25 and will participate in next season's Champions League, with their place in the tournament securing extra income.
Lewis Hall was the only first-team addition made by Howe last summer - he was signed on loan in August 2023 before joining permanently in July 2024 - but the Magpies manager confirmed that the team will be ambitious this summer, saying: "We haven't recruited strongly in three windows and I think eventually, that can catch up with you in the end if you continue not to change because change is an important part of the squad dynamic.
"I think we feel that and I think we potentially felt that last summer as well, so I think that's why the players have done so well to carry the success through. Yes, it is going to be a big transfer window."
Newcastle seem well-placed to push further up the table considering they have qualified for the Champions League in two of the past three seasons, and their EFL Cup triumph against Liverpool in March has given the squad a taste of success.
The Toon have been linked with Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo and Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, and it would not be surprising if the club challenged higher up the table if they landed the duo.

Simone Inzaghi future
Inter Milan head coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to leave Italy and become Al-Hilal manager, according to the latest reports.
The Serie A side suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, the largest winning margin in a final in the competition's history.
Inter's defeat was made worse by the fact they also missed out on the league title to Napoli, who finished first in the Italian top flight, with their tally of 82 points one more than Inzaghi's side.
The 49-year-old only has one year left on his deal, and amid links to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, Sky Sports News' chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol has reported that the Italian is likely to leave the club this summer.
Inzaghi would leave Inter having won one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia's and three Supercoppa Italiana's, as well as having reached two Champions League finals.
