Lazio president Claudio Lotito says that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has been linked with Liverpool and Juventus, is currently worth‎ £105m.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has said that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is currently worth‎ €‎120m (£105m) amid the recent speculation surrounding the central midfielder.

The Serbian's future in Rome has been the subject of talk over the last couple of years, with a number of Europe's biggest clubs believed to be admirers.

A recent report claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to bring the 27-year-old to Anfield during next summer's transfer window.

Meanwhile, Juventus have also been strongly linked with a move, and it has been suggested that the Old Lady are planning a January approach.

However, Lotito has warned interested parties that the Serbian's asking price is rising with each passing month, and the midfielder currently has a valuation of €‎120m (£105m).

"I have no agreement with Mateja Kezman (the player's agent) to sell him to Juve or anyone else in the winter. On the contrary, he is now worth €‎120m (£105m), no longer €‎100m (£87.5m). The price goes up every month," he told Il Messaggero.

Milinkovic-Savic has less than two years left to run on his contract in Rome, and it is believed that he is not currently interested in signing an extension.

The midfielder has again been in impressive form for his Serie A club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring four times and registering seven assists in 12 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Milinkovic-Savic has scored 62 times and registered 59 assists in 306 appearances for Lazio since making the move to the club from Genk in August 2015.

La Gazzetta dello Sport recently published a front-page story on Milinkovic-Savic covering the midfielder's proposed move to Juventus.

Speaking ahead of Lazio's clash with Sturm Graz in the Europa League, the club's head coach Maurizio Sarri hit out at the recent speculation.

"I think there is too much noise around him. The day after our 4-0 win [against Fiorentina], a paper put his name on their front page talking about transfers," Sarri told reporters.

"[Italian Cyclist] Filippo Ganna has established a new incredible record, but in order to know something more about it, I had to search on specialised websites. This makes you understand how much the vision of the Italian Press is biased.

"Milinkovic has room for improvement and you can see that from how many balls he loses."

Manchester United were also heavily linked with the Serbian during the summer transfer window, while Barcelona and Real Madrid are thought to be long-term admirers of the midfielder.
