Manchester United are reportedly willing to delay a potential swoop for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, as they are hoping for his valuation to drop.

The 18-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 club, who are concerned about losing him for free unless they sell him this summer.

United have expressed their interest in Camavinga, who is currently valued at around £30m, but according to The Athletic, they are prepared to wait until the latter stages of the transfer window in order to negotiate a cheaper deal.

Both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the talented teenager's situation, with Spain believed to be his preferred destination at present.

The Red Devils left it late last summer when finalising new recruits, with Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri all joining the club on deadline day.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not prioritising the transfer of Camavinga just yet, as the club are focused on completing the signing of primary target Jadon Sancho in the coming weeks, while talks between United and Real Madrid's Raphael Varane are progressing well.

Camavinga made 39 appearances across all competitions for Rennes last season, including four starts in the Champions League.
