Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez this summer, with the asking price for the Frenchman understood to be over £50m.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan's Theo Hernandez this summer, but the Red Devils will have to pay over £50m for the left-back.

Having joined the Rossoneri from Real Madrid in July 2019, the 25-year-old has played over 160 games for the club and was part of the Milan side who won Serie A in the 2021-22 term.

The left-back also has considerable international pedigree having turned out for France on 15 occasions, and now the player could be set for a move to the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are keen on bringing Hernandez to Old Trafford this summer, although they would need to fork out over £50m for his services.

Having signed a contract extension with the San Siro club in February, the full-back is now contracted to Milan until the summer of 2026, earning quadruple the amount per week compared to his previous terms.

Erik ten Hag has Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia as his current left-sided defensive options, but is said to be searching for reinforcements as the Red Devils prepare for Champions League football.
