Manchester United have reportedly identified Al-Hilal forward Aleksandar Mitrovic as a potential summer transfer target.
The Red Devils have taken a proactive approach to the start of the market by announcing that they have agreed a deal to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha.
However, with that acquisition costing £62.5m spread across three instalments, it will see United commit heavily to another player who they hope will improve their frontline.
Although Ruben Amorim wants further additions to be made, the general consensus is that sales must be facilitated before there can be more arrivals.
According to talkSPORT, Mitrovic has emerged as a surprise target for United as they contemplate further arrivals in the final third.

Is Mitrovic available?
In his two years with Al-Hilal, Mitrovic has etched his name into the club's history with an incredible 68 goals and 15 assists from 79 appearances in all competitions.
The Serbia international is currently preparing for the Club World Cup with the rest of his teammates, but the Serbia international now has just one year left on his contract.
Should the 30-year-old opt against renewing his terms, Al-Hilal are expected to be open to offers for a player who cost in the region of £50m.
Furthermore, they must also comply with the rules involving the amount of foreign players that they are able to play at a time when they are being linked with other high-profile additions.
As a result, an exit for Mitrovic appears more likely at this stage than not, and United head coach Amorim will see the value of adding someone with vast Premier League experience to his squad.
Everton and West Ham United are also said to be monitoring the situation as they contemplate how to add to their own forward lines.

Is Mitrovic an ideal signing for United?
In seven of his last eight seasons for a variety of different clubs, Mitrovic has netted at least 11 goals, emphasising his consistency in front of goal and availability.
There will be those that criticise the prospect of spending an alleged £40m on someone who turns 31 in September, yet it could prove to be a shrewd signing if United can cash in on Rasmus Hojlund.
Mitrovic possesses a record of 38 goals and 11 assists from 129 appearances in the Premier League across stints with Newcastle United and Fulham.
Although Mitrovic would realistically have to take a pay-cut, United would be confident about tempting him to return to English football.
