Inter Milan contact Manchester United to discuss a loan deal for Alex Telles, according to a report.

Inter Milan have reportedly made contact with Manchester United to discuss a loan deal for Alex Telles.

The 28-year-old's future at Old Trafford is currently being called into question, having been restricted to just nine Premier League appearances last season due to Luke Shaw's form.

Roma have been credited with an interest in the Brazil international, but a recent report claimed that Man United were not prepared to allow him to leave on loan in the current market.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have not been discouraged by the English club's stance and are hopeful of agreeing a short-term deal for the South American.

Di Marzio claims that Telles would be interested in returning to San Siro, where he spent the 2015-16 campaign on loan from Galatasaray.

The left-back, who made 24 appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the 2020-21 campaign, still has three years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford.
