Harry Kane is reportedly only interested in leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester United this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is reportedly only interested in a move to Manchester United this summer.

Kane has just enjoyed one of his best individual campaigns, scoring 30 goals from 38 starts in the Premier League with those strikes coming across 26 games.

However, despite his consistency in the final third, Kane was unable to prevent Spurs from missing out on the Champions League and European football altogether.

Spurs' failure has come at a time when the England captain has just over 12 months remaining on his contract, leaving Spurs in a predicament over his future.

If they do not cash in on their most prized asset before the end of August, they face the real risk of losing the 29-year-old on a free transfer in 2024.

Chairman Daniel Levy will ultimately be left to make the final call, whether that decision comes before a new head coach is appointed or afterwards.

A recent report claimed that Levy has no interest in allowing Kane to make the switch to a Premier League rival, regardless of whether the club lose money on a big-money transfer.

Nevertheless, according to The Sun, Kane is only prepared to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Man United during the upcoming transfer window.

The report says that Kane will give no consideration to a transfer to a foreign club courtesy of his desire to become the all-time record goalscorer in the Premier League.

Kane is now within 48 goals of Alan Shearer's 260 strikes, and reaching that target will realistically take more than one extra year in England's top flight.

That stance effectively rules out a switch to fellow admirers Bayern Munich in the short term with the Bundesliga champions naturally expecting Kane to pen a long-term contract if they are prepared to pay in the region of £80m for his signature.

If United came calling, Spurs would insist on a bigger fee, yet it appears that the relevant parties may find themselves at an impasse if Levy or Kane do not have a change of heart.

Real Madrid have been interested in Kane in the past, something which could theoretically be reignited if Karim Benzema accepts an offer to join a club in Saudi Arabia.
