Result: Livingston through to Scottish Challenge Cup final

Livingston beat Stranraer on penalties to reach the final of the Scottish Challenge Cup.

Livingston have reached the final of the Scottish Challenge Cup after beating Stranraer on penalties at Almondvale Stadium.

The visitors made the breakthrough on the stroke of half time when Jamie Longworth found the net with a low effort.

It took Livingstone until the 63rd minute to find an equaliser as Gary Glen drilled the ball home after being played through by Keaghan Jacobs.

Both teams failed to find a winner during the remainder of normal time, and there was also nothing to separate them in extra time.

With only penalties left to decide the outcome of the match, the hosts came through 5-4 after Anthony Marenghi had his spot kick saved.
