A report claims that Rangers are beating Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the hunt to sign Livingston teenager Matthew Knox.

Rangers are reportedly on the verge of signing Livingston striker Matthew Knox.

The 16-year-old has been linked with both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as a host of clubs in the English Championship.

However, Football Insider claims that following a recent trial at Ibrox, talks over a move to Rangers have reached an advanced stage.

Knox has featured six times for Livingston's first team this season.
