Experienced manager Rafael Benitez celebrates his 65th birthday today, and it would be fair to say that the Spaniard has had a well-travelled coaching career.
Benitez managed Real Madrid's Under-17s between 1986 and 1993 before moving on to Real Madrid Castilla, but his first taste of coaching at senior level came in 1995, when he made the switch to Real Valladolid.
The Spaniard first truly notable spell at the helm came at Valencia between 2001 and 2004, and his work at Mestalla, which involved winning two La Liga titles and the UEFA Cup, led to him receiving the top job at Liverpool, making the move to Anfield ahead of the 2004-05 campaign.
Benitez won the FA Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup during his time at Anfield, in addition to famously landing the 2004-05 Champions League title, so he will go down in history when it comes to managers of the Merseyside giants.
The Spaniard has also been in charge of Inter Milan, Chelsea, Napoli, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Dalian Professional, Everton and Celta Vigo since leaving Liverpool, managing more than 1,200 matches.
The 65-year-old certainly enjoyed success during his time with Liverpool, but how many of Benitez's 25 most expensive signings at Anfield can you name?
