Juventus have reportedly made Atalanta BC striker Mateo Retegui their 'priority target' ahead of the summer transfer window.
Retegui was crowned Serie A's Capocannoniere for the 2024-25 season, scoring a very impressive 25 goals in his first season in Bergamo, finishing six clear of second-placed Moise Kean.
The naturalised Italian international joined Atalanta from Genoa last summer, and in the absence of Gianluca Scamacca, instantly broke into the side, and made a huge impact, firing in the goals that ultimately earned the club Champions League football for a fifth time in seven years.
TodoFichajes claim that Juventus are very keen to pursue the player this summer though, going as far as making him their number one target this summer.
Juventus also qualified for the Champions League, finishing one place below Atalanta, but they scored 20 fewer goals, and they are willing to offer big money for the Italy striker, with Dusan Vlahovic likely to leave in the coming months.
The report states that Atalanta are reluctant to sell, but a fee in the region of €60m (£50m) could be enough to lure him to Turin, while that tag could rise if competing clubs from outside of Italy also enter the race for the Serie A top scorer.

Elsewhere on the continent, former Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta is reportedly all set for a move to Celta Vigo.
Azpilicueta's contract at Atletico Madrid expires at the end of June, and Celta have emerged as the favourites to sign the 35-year-old on a free transfer, according to TodoFichajes.
Despite his age and playing as backup to Nahuel Molina and Marcos Llorente, the defender has proven his fitness this season by being available for the vast majority of Atletico matches, playing in 20 across all competitions.
Celta's qualification for the Europa League by finishing seventh in La Liga means a bulked-up squad will be required for their escapades on the continent, and the club is clearly keen to add players with experience of playing in Europe.
Marcos Alonso joined the club last summer, and along with fellow veterans Iago Aspas and Vicente Guaita, played a key role in Celta's strong season, among a playing squad that also has plenty of youthful exuberance to it.
During his time at Chelsea, Azpilicueta won both the Champions League and the Europa League, and he will look to bring that experience with him to Balaidos, as Celta seek to go as far in Europe as they did back in 2016-17, when they were Europa League semi-finalists.
Leeds facing competition for Rangers midfielder

Back in English football, and Leeds United are reportedly facing competition for the signature of Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin.
The Belgian midfielder has been the standout member of the Rangers squad that endured a difficult campaign in 2024-25, meaning he is set for a move south of the border.
Raskin ended the season in electric form, scoring three and assisting four in Rangers' final five games of the campaign, but that was in vain as they finished a whopping 17 points behind rivals Celtic.
Football Insider claim that Leeds' long-standing interest in Raskin remains, but other Premier League clubs are set to join the newly-promoted side in pursuing the 24-year-old this summer.
Raskin joined Rangers from Standard Liege in a deal worth roughly £1m back in 2023, but the Glasgow club are set to make a huge profit on the player, should he make the move to English football.
