A report claims that Huesca playmaker Samuel Saiz will be unveiled as a Leeds United player by Monday evening.

Leeds United are close to finalising a move for Huesca ace Samuel Saiz in a deal that could be worth around £3m, according to a report.

The 26-year-old, who has been on the Whites' radar for the past month, is said to be due in West Yorkshire on Monday to sign a contract.

Former Atletico Madrid playmaker Sainz scored 12 goals in 43 appearances for Huesca last season, helping his side to a sixth-place finish in the Segunda Division.

Leeds have been made to wait for the player to finalise personal terms, but the Yorkshire Evening Post suggests that the transfer will be wrapped up by early next week.

Saiz will become United's seventh signing of the summer, having already recruited Vurnon Anita, Felix Wiedwald, Mateusz Klich, Hadi Sacko, Pontus Jansson and Madger Gomes.
